SWSD MCP is a Model Context Protocol server for SolarWinds Service Desk that lets an AI agent handle tickets, author knowledge-base articles, and query the service catalog. It authenticates with a Service Desk admin JWT and offers selectable tool profiles from a read-heavy triage set up to the full toolset. A solo builder or small IT team reaches for it to automate ticket triage, draft KB articles, and answer service requests without living in the SWSD web UI.
