6. AI Views

AI widget availability is in flux during the V6 beta cycle. As of 6.0.0-beta2, the AI assistant chat history (CometChatAIAssistantChatHistory) and conversation summary (CometChatAIConversationSummary) views are exported via the chat barrel. Other AI widgets (CometChatAISmartReplies, CometChatAIConversationStarter, CometChatAIAssistantBubble) may or may not be exported depending on the beta — if your import errors with "undefined name", the symbol isn't in that beta. Verify against your installed version before relying on a specific class.

For AI behavior more broadly, the kit surfaces AI replies / summaries / starters inside the existing message list and composer when the matching dashboard extensions are enabled. Drive AI through extensions for the most stable path.
