Required Environment Variables
# For competitive analysis (required for /analyze-competitors)
export SERPAPI_API_KEY=your_key_here
Sign up at serpapi.com — free tier includes 100 searches/month.
Optional Environment Variables
# For image generation (only if using the Gemini backend)
export GEMINI_API_KEY=your_key # Google Gemini
Image Generation
The /content-visuals command generates image prompts for any article. With a GEMINI_API_KEY, it can also generate actual images via the Gemini API:
/content-visuals path/to/article.md # prompts only (default)
/content-visuals path/to/article.md --model flash # generate with Gemini Flash
/content-visuals path/to/article.md --model pro # generate with Gemini Pro (4K)
Without an API key, prompts are saved to data/images/ and can be pasted into Google AI Studio or any image tool manually.
