What it does

Hooks for amux agent multiplexer integration with Claude Code

README.md

amux

Agent Multiplexer - Access your AI coding agents from anywhere.

amux lets you connect to AI assistant sessions (Claude, Codex, OpenCode, etc.) running on your machine from multiple terminals, your phone, or across the network.

Why amux?

You start a coding session with Claude on your workstation. Later you want to:

  • Check progress from your laptop without interrupting the session
  • Glance at your phone while grabbing coffee to see if that build finished
  • Share your terminal with a colleague for pair programming
  • Pick up where you left off when you switch machines

amux makes this seamless. Your agent sessions persist, and you can attach from anywhere.

Features

  • Multiple terminals, one session - Attach and detach like tmux, but for AI agents
  • Mobile access - Check on long-running tasks from your phone
  • Cloud relay - Access your home machine's agents from anywhere (optional, paid)
  • Works with any agent - Claude, Codex, OpenCode, AMP, or any terminal-based AI assistant

Status

amux is in early development. Core multiplexing works locally. Cloud relay and mobile apps coming soon.
