Setup preflight runs scripts/setup.py --check for ffmpeg, ffprobe, yt-dlp, and a Whisper API key, staying silent when the environment is already ready. watch.py accepts URLs or local media paths with optional --start, --end, --max-frames, --resolution, --fps, --whisper, and --no-whisper flags. Frame budgets scale inversely with duration with hard caps at one hundred frames and two fps across the full timeline. Focused sections use denser frame rates when users name timestamps on long sources. Agents Read every listed frame path in parallel and combine visual evidence with transcript lines keyed by timestamp. Best accuracy targets videos under ten minutes; longer sources should narrow to a section before sparse full scans burn image tokens.
