Sidecar is a project-agnostic AI coding security sidecar that intercepts agent commands, file edits, and prompts to enforce governance rules, block dangerous operations, and maintain an immutable JSONL audit log. It guards against force-pushes, rm -rf patterns, and secret literals; enforces canonical naming; consolidates docs into ARCHITECTURE.json and CHANGELOG.jsonl; and provides multi-language support with auto-detection. Includes architecture design trees, model registries, skill description caps, and development workflow automation with git pre-commit linting.
